“Mothers Day 2008” Contest Rules
WJLK-FM – Monmouth/Ocean County, NJ

1.  No purchase necessary. This contest is open to residents of New Jersey that are 14 years old or younger.  Persons who are owners or employees of WJLK-FM, Millennium Radio Group, LLC, contest sponsors, their associated advertising agencies and their immediate families, as well as employees of other radio and television stations and their immediate families, are not eligible to participate in this contest.

2.  Registration dates are Friday, May 2, 2008 until 12 Noon (EST) on Thursday, May 8, 2008.  One entry per person will be accepted.  All additional entrees after the first one received will be discarded.  Entry must include in approximately 9 words or less why they think their Mom is the best in the world.  Entrees with more words will be eligible to win.  Since this contest is for children 14 years old and younger, a legal parent or guardian must provide their information as well in order to be eligible.  The child will be announced as the winner, but the indicated legal parent or guardian will be named the official winner for release form and tax paperwork reasons.  One (1) entry from all eligible entrees received will be randomly drawn at or about 2pm (EST) on Thursday, May 8, 2008 and named the winner.  Winner will receive a ten thousand dollar ($10,000) gift certificate for Aramis Fine Jewelry & Diamonds, 240 Mounts Corner Dr., Freehold, NJ 07728, as well as a $50 dinner certificate for La Piazza.  The winning child must have a legal parent or guardian sign prize paperwork, including a release form and tax paperwork for the amount of the grand prize package.  Prize value is $10,050.

Listeners may register for this contest in one of the following ways;
a)  Visit 943ThePoint.com by 12 Noon (EST) on Thursday, May 8, 2008 and follow the instructions to register.

b)  Visit Aramis Fine Jewelry & Diamonds, 240 Mounts Corner Dr., Freehold, NJ 07728

 during their regular business hours before 12 Noon (EST) on Thursday, May 8, 2008.

3.  On Friday morning, May 9, 2008 WJLK and an Aramis Fine Jewelry & Diamonds representatives will attempt to visit the winner’s home to deliver the prizes.  At this time, the winner child’s legal parent or guardian must show legal identification, provide their social security number and complete tax paperwork and a release form provided by WJLK-FM.  If this visit is not possible as per the winner’s legal parent or guardian, the winning child’s legal parent or guardian must visit WJLK, 2401 Route 66, Ocean, NJ 07712 within thirty (30) business days to claim his or her prizes. At this time, the winner child’s legal parent or guardian must show legal identification, provide their social security number and complete tax paperwork and a release form provided by WJLK-FM.  If the winner does not visit WJLK-FM when instructed and/or complete the necessary paperwork, he or she will forfeit their prizes and the prize will become the property of WJLK-FM.

5.  Prize is non-transferable.  Prize may not be substituted or exchanged for another prize or cash.  Prize may have been furnished for promotional or advertising consideration.  WJLK-FM is not responsible if the winner cannot use his or her prize.  Prize is offered “as is” with no warranty.

6.  Any person who is discovered by the station that he or she is or was not eligible to participate in a contest shall have no legal or other claim to any prize, whether prospective only, awarded but not received, or awarded and received. The determination of eligibility or ineligibility shall be binding on all persons who enter or seek to enter a contest and is final.  Any person who receives a prize but is found by WJLK-FM to be ineligible to participate in the contest, for any reason, shall return the full prize, without any deduction or offset, within seven (7) business days of having been notified in writing of WJLK-FM’s decision.

7.  Winners forever release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless WJLK-FM, Millennium Radio Group, LLC, their officers, employees and directors from and for any claim liability, any tax, including income tax, loss or damage caused by or arising out of participation in this contest and/or use of any prize. Any additional cost related to this prize that is incurred by the prize winner as a result of accepting this prize is the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

8.  Void where prohibited by law.

9. WJLK-FM and its authorized representatives reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, delay, and/or modify the contest dates, events and/or method of entry at any time. WJLK-FM may be excused from its obligation to execute the contest if its performance is delayed or prevented due to any cause beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, acts of God, public enemies, war, civil disorder, fire, flood, explosion, labor disputes or strikes, and any acts by any governmental authority.  WJLK-FM reserves the right to change or alter the official rules, method of entry and/or prize without prior notification.

10. Winner hereby allows WJLK-FM to use their name, voice and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without any other authorization and without additional compensation.

11. A copy of the official rules are available at the WJLK-FM office during regular business hours, online at 943thepoint.com, or you may send a self addressed envelope with a written request for the rules to WJLK-FM.

12. Odds of winning are based on the number of entrees received. . WJLK-FM is not responsible for failure of anyone who attempts to register for this contest in the means listed above, including but not limited to, computer and/or internet connection malfunction, lost, stolen, illegible or damaged entries, etc.

13.  Only one (1) qualified contestant per residential address will be eligible to win within thirty (30) calendar days.  This rule has been waived for this promotion in regard to Spice Up Your Life contest only.  The winner of this contest may also still be eligible to participate in WJLK’s Spice Up Your Life promotion.

14. The decision of the judges is final.

15. WJLK-FM intends to keep your email information confidential and does not intend to make your address available to any company or organization outside of Millennium except as required by law. However, we may occasionally send you an email about a station event. Your participation in this contest by email constitutes your invitation that we do so.  If you do not wish to receive such mail, please respond with NO MAIL in the body of your email.
