My first radio experience was the campus radio station at Monmouth
University. Four years of broadcasting and a Communications degree
later I was picked up by The Point and the rest is history. OK,
so maybe I wasn't "picked up" but rather "forced
my way in."
I'm the weekend guy who occasionally surfaces during the week when
needed. When I'm not on the air making fun of reality shows and
young Hollywood, I teach a variety of college level communication
classes and run the campus internet radio station. I assist students
with internships and help them develop a career with a degree in
Communications. Actually, I only teach so I can test my jokes on
a live audience before saying them on the air!
And if that's not enough for you, I'm a real estate agent in Monmouth
County where I exercise my business communication skills. So there's
the answer to the question I often hear in college: "What are
you gonna do with a communications degree?"
I could bore you with my acting background which includes the movie
The Stepford Wives. Two days of shooting so you can see
the back of my head for 2 seconds. Staring at Nicole Kidman for
two days? Priceless!
So for now, more radio, more college life, more
real estate and and original screenplay I'm trying to get made.
I'll keep you posted on that.
